If ANYBODY out there knows of Jeff Schultz, please, please stay as far from him as you can! I know for a fact that he is a scam artist! The many stories I can tell would take up this whole website so I will just cite a few.

He embezzeled almost 100,000.00 from a dog grooming company here in toledo while working for John Hancock as a financial advisor. He was stripped of all his licences necessary to be a financial planner, and was made to give restitution to this company but has yet to do so.

He was taken out of his home in handcuffs by the sheriff for writing bad checks.

He talked his wife into taking a second mortage out on her home for his newest business... Landscaping. He said he would make the payments. The house was foreclosed on, and the marriage, after only 1 year was dissolved.

He conned a single, very nice women from Costa Rico into "loaning" him almost all of her meager life savings. He told her he had some bills to pay here in Toledo, then he would sell all his belongings, pay her back and they would get married and move to Costa Rica permanently. You can imagine how that worked out. He ended up changing his home phone and cell phone #'s because she was calling him every day wondering when she was going to get her money back. He also changed his email address because she was "bothering" him he says!

He scammed Central Catholic High school into believing that he would pay for his 2 boys tuition. He actually made it all the way to his eldest son's junior year before the school called his x-wife and told her that the boys would not be allowed back in September unless she came up with over $26,000.00 dollars in back tuition! Luckily for the boys, their mother worked out a deal and borrowed from everybody she could to get them in school for their remaining years. She paid the school $13,000.00 and got a loan for the remaining tuition.

Now for the worst. He has been telling his family, and worse, his sons that he has terminal cancer. This supposedly started 4 years ago (coincedentally, around the same time as the tuition fiasco) his mother is in on it, she told the 2 sons that their dad was on his last Thanksgiving, 3 years ago.

This man actually shaves his head to make it look like he is going through Chemo!

He said he was getting experimental treatments here in Toledo. When his x girlfriend checked that story out and found it to be a lie, he changed his story. He now receives his treatment in Ann Arbor, and lo and behold... He says he gets it for free when questioned about how he pays for it. (He has no insurance.)

I feel sorry for his 2 boys. I cannot imagine my dad telling me he was dying only to see him just fine each and every day!

In closing, from what I know right now, he has talked a local women in Swanton Oh.into getting a loan in her name so he can buy his father's sprinkler business! This women needs to be warned. I know that she is a paramedic and apperently has some money. If he followes his pattern, she too will be just one of the many victims of this horrible man and his cons!
