FRAUD ripoff

I have gone through this site and realized how many people including myself have been ripped off by these people. I want to do something about it! I got the phone call at the end of February I don't know the exact date but I know it was in February. I didn't get the $249 dollars debited out of my account until 3/11/05.

I didn't realize they had deducted my account until I was checking it online and I was WAY lower then I was supposed to be. I looked through my account and I saw the Spectra name and I was taken aback. I didn't authorize them to take that out of my account.

I told them to send me the information and I would go over it and then get back to them. They said that was fine and so thus ended our phone call. So when I saw that name and number I called the number provided. And I got a message saying that I was not in the Service Range. Which I thought was funny, seeing how it's a toll free number.

Needless to say, my bank did a preauthorized reversal and credited my bank account. I thought it was over. Well last Friday 4/1/05 I was debited again. I found this out when I went to use my card and I was declined I didn't see how. Since I had just gotten paid that day. But I was. So I checked my account. As I suspected. There was that same name and number and amount.

I thought my bank would do another preauthorized reversal. I waited so that after they did that I could stop payment on it. I waited until today and they didn't do it. So I eventually called them. I spent all morning on the phoen with my bank making a claim putting a hold on my account and what not. I am one of the lucky ones. I am getting my money back.

My advice to all of you is ONE) Don't let these people do to you what they did to me. And TWO) If it does happen go to your bank explain the situation and demand your money back make a claim and close your account as soon as possible. Thank you for listening to my story.
