Rips off unsuspecting college students Ripoff

I was contacted by my bank while I was on Spring Break that my account had been overdrawn. I knew this wasn't possible since I had just put money in before I had left for my trip. After reviewing my statement history with the bank I found an unauthorized debit of $159 that was a web initiated payment. I explained that I had never made the purchase and they gave me the phone number to Icardservices.

The first time I called the customer services representative told me it was an automatic debit for a prepaid debit card. I said "I have a debit card, why would I apply for another" and she told me I was out of luck becuase it was too late to be refunded. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was put on hold for an hour and a half before I hung up.

I called again and was told the same thing and sat on hold for the supervisor for another hour. The third time I called after I had already begun fraud claims through my bank I did get to speak to a supervisor who said that I must have forgotten filling out the application and there was nothing he could do about it. I told him I had already filed fraud claims and he told me I was too young to understand how credit cards work. I am 22 years old! I think I know how to handle money. I was frustrated at this point and demanded that he refund my money. He swore at me for about five minutes said "I guess you'll learn" and hung up on me.

Way to make yourselves look even guiltier of ripping off people's identities. It turned out they didn't even use my debit card, they used my actual bank account number. So now that I've had to get a new account, wait for the bank to get my money back, and basically frustrate me to no end, I'm just telling people that no where is safe. People will steal whatever they want from you whenever they want.
