Education & Science

I recieved a letter from the Prize Distribution Center of Las Vegas, Nevada. Being the cautiously optimistic person I am I went the right way to investigate this company. I was first drawn to the postmark on the envelope. It was marked from Lafayette, Colorado on March 10. And then at Denver it was marked presorted first class. Too bad for them now they spent their 30 cents to send me a worthless letter.

Now getting to the details. The letter enclosed was well put together. But it all looked either laser printed or printed with a very good regular printer. None of this was done with a typewriter that would ndent the paper at all. The total prize supposedly was in a lump sum of $677,519.00.

In the bottom right hand corner are 3 sets of numbers.in the format of numbers you would find on a personal check. Mine read as follows "53434 0000 423".

On my particular sheet there was no sign of any kind of phone number or contact information other than a mailing adress for this company.

On the "official" letter explaining the details in writing there was a signature on the bottom with the name "Kevin Smith". That is too common of a name to believe.

I truly believe that if anyone won such an amount of money no respectable company would make their winners give up money of their own. Just glad I had the desire to find out about this before I lost my own money.
