Ripoff

I looked over my Nov-Dec '04 bank statement and learned that 3 weeks prior there was a withdrawal of $199 taken out of my account. I immediately called my bank and told them that I had NEVER heard of this company, nor did I authorize a withdrawal. I was told to get a police report written and they would "look into" getting my money back in my account.

On the copy of the cashed check I saw that their was a toll free number of (877) 298-6342 and so I called the phone number. I was told by the a lady named nikki who answered the phone that they were just a third party company who handled accounts for Moonlight Marketing. She told me that she would pull my file and have someone get back in touch with me and require 20 days time. I still have not heard from anyone! It appeared that the bank who handles transactions for this Moonlight Marketing was The Bancorp Company out of Wilmington, DE. After 20 days i try the abve phone I was unable to get thro' and the phone line were not in service.

I think once the company's representatives get caught, and they WILL, that each of us who have been affected by their rip-off should receive restituation for mental anguish!!!

The Bank (PNC) could not do any help to me and they stand that these transaction were legal and are preauthorized. So i felt leaving money in this account is dangerous so i with drew all my money. Now my bank started charging me service fee for not having my minimum balance. On calling they told they will refund my service charges abnd should close my account. So i did not want any one to ripp off my hard earned money any more so i closed my account.

Please advise me if there is anything i can do to get my money back.
