Aismedia.com engages in fraud, & deceptive business practices

Originally, I applied for a web hosting site with aismedia.com. The service charges were to be billed to my credit card and included: $50.00 set-up fee, and a monthly charge of $38.50.

I was PROMISED that the site would be up and running in twenty-four hours.

Days later, the site was not ready for me to design, or access.in addition, an associate of aismedia failed to follow thru on compatible software applications I intended to use to help build the web pages at aismedia.com. Neither aismedia.com, or the associate (dxstorm.com) were sympathetic, or professional in dealing with my complaints when the services I contracted for were not forthcoming as agreed by contract. So, I noticed aismedia to close the account, and issue me a credit.

Then some shocking events unfolded. Denise Maling, who claimed to a concerned executive at aismedia.com - promised me a credit (and I have proof of that agreement in writing via an e mail that was sent to me). However, when it was not forthcoming, I sent two or three e mails over the next two weeks advising that the credits had not been posted to my account.

At this point, Denise Maling, a very unprofessional, and unsophisticated person, with no social or business skills, sent me an e mail stating that because two weeks had passed, and I had not sent any notice in writing to cancel service, that I would not be getting my credit. What a load of "BS".

In retrospect, it is clear that when they failed to issue the credit, and I brought this to their attention, they became annoyed - and decided to retaliate by reneging on their agreement to refund me my credit.indeed, in spite of Ms. Maling's silly excuses, I did, in fact, send a letter to their offices within twenty four hours. A copy was also sent to her boss, Mr. Harpointer. (President and CEO, of the company).

When I sent additional e mails, Ms. Maling could no longer face her lack of professionalism, and then proceeded to tell me that my e mail reminders about credit due on my charge card would be "... Viewed as spam".

At this point, it became clear to me that Ms. Maling has about half a brain, since e mail reminders about credit due (that was promised previously) do not, in any way, shape, or form under the sun amount to "spam" mailings.

Aismedia.com falsely advertised that the site would be up and running in twenty-four hours. When they failed to meet their contractual obligation, they promised credit back (which I have proof of) - but failed to issue it. Then when I brought their over-sights to their attention, they try to accuse me of sending spam e mails in an effort to avoid the situation (and their obligation to pay me back my credit due).

In sum, they did not connect the service, or provide any web hosting - so why should they be entitled to any monies?

It is clear that aismedia.com is ripping consumers off, and hiding behind the "net" to avoid meeting their obligations. Their actions amount to: fraud, theft, deceptive business practices, and breach of agreement.

Warning: all consumers should stay away from aismedia.com.
They are rip-off artists, damaging the integrity
of a code of professionalism on the net.
