LPN program lengthened from 12 to 18 months after $3,000 deposit

I have been at this school since 2011 for the LPN, not RN. When I signed up for the program, I was told by the assistant director, who is the co-owner (daughter of the owner), that the program was 12 months long. After I gave her $3,000 down as a deposit, she said the program is 18 months, and she never told me anything about 12 months. She tricked me! She knew that had she told me the truth about how long the program would be, I would have gone elsewhere, but now that I had already given her my deposit, plus the monthly payments I was already making, she knew I would not walk away, so I had no choice but to stay.

The education is very poor, and the instructors do not teach. I could write a book on why to stay away from Capscare.

Also, one time the students were kicked out of the nursing home where they go for clinical. Yes, it's true. The instructor who was at that site with the students was not doing her job but sitting in the visitor room talking, and the students were walking around doing NOTHING. So they were asked to leave the site and not come back! The instructor begged the students not to tell the director(s) of the school what happened. She also begged the nurse supervisor who asked them to leave for another chance, saying she would make sure it never happened again. That's how the school was able to go back to that site.
