Ripoff fraudulent double billing

Gleaming White Smiles rip off. I ordered the free trial on September 17 for $6.95. On October 15 I received my credit card statement showing that on October 7, I had been charged not only for the free trial in September, but I was also double charged $56.90, which was charge on my card.

I immediately call the number listed to have this taken care of. Mind you, I had not received anything in the mail at this time, but was informed that they could not cancel the shipment and that it had already been mailed. Well, to this date (1/5/05) I have not received anything in the mail. Also, I was told that they would remove the second charge of $56.90, but it would take 30 days. I called on December 20th to find that the company was no longer in business, but the accounts department would refund my money.

I asked how was that possible when they never asked my name or the amount. I was told that this was all that could be done on their part because they were simply the cancellation department. Today, I called again and was given the same information, however, I was told that someone would call me back in a day or two because they were able to locate my information. So far it has taken nearly three months to get my $113.80 back with no results. If there is a class action, I certainly hope to be included.
