I requested a FREE trial sample of Nexiderm-SP from Boehm -Ritter on December 2. They immediately charged my visa $9.95 for shipping and handling (for a 1 oz. Jar). I printed out the Terms & Conditions - It said you couldn't CANCEL the Optimize Program until you recieved the product.

I was not interested in any automatic ship program so I knew I wanted to cancel as soon as it arrived. When the product arrived on Dec. 7 - I didn't open it.- The packing slip said my tial period would Expire on December 12 (a Sunday) 4 days after receipt of goods. Who on earth could know if a product would be good in 4 days of use!!! I tried calling the number they gave me from my daytime job and a recording said a customer service rep would be with me shortly.

I held on for about 15 minutes and that recording repeated several times - then it said "Due to high volume call back during Off Peak 3 to 5PM" and then the recording said "Good Bye" and disconected me! I tried several times that day and evening and the following day. Then on Friday Dec. 10 I called from my home and a machine finally came on and requested my number so a representative could get back to me.

I gave my name, number and the order number and requested that my membership be cancelled immediately and someone should return my call. Of course no one did. When I received my credit card bill on Dec. 24 it showed a charge of $89.95 to may account on December 12 (a Sunday) from Boehm-Ritter. I immediately started calling them. After holding for 19 minutes I finally got a real person I told him I had cancelled and wanted my account credited.

The man told me I couldn't because I didn't get a cancellation number. I said the package was unopened and I wanted to return it. He said he wouldn't suggest I bother because they wouldn't credit me. Who ever heard of a company so unprofessional - I can't believe they would steal that much money from a customer. What a Rip Off.
