When I recieved my credit card bill yesterday I had two unfamiliar charges for $14.95 each. One from simpleescapes and one from galleriausa.

My credit card company advised me to call these companies and ask for a refund. Well the numbers provided are automated services only, and I learned one of the accounts had already been cancelled and I was able to cancel the other.

I called my credit card company back and they are sending me a new card because my # had been compromised and they are walking me through a dispute process.
Just out of curiosity, I went online typed in "simple escapes" and that's how I found out that not only have I been scammed so have hundreds of other people.

I find myself fortunate to be squabbiling over 30bucks after the stories I read on the consumer complaints website!
