What they don't tell you (and are required to do so) at the school is that you do have access to an ombudsmans office in your state. The ombudsman is is a go between when you are having difficulty in dealing with your stuent aid. This is a service of the department of education. The number to call is 1-877-557-2575 www.sfahelp. Ed. Gov.

This information can also be obtained by contacting your state higher education agency. The numbers for these agencies are listed on the last page of the "student guide" put out by the department of education. If you cannot obtain a copy of this publication from your school, go to www.edpubs.org and they will send you a copy.
