WLI Reservations Rewards - Digital River Software
Ripoff, charged debit card $9 for 3 months, said they will refund all three months

I found an unexplained charge on my debit card bill for $9.00 from WLI Reservations. The number was 1-800-732-7031 and it was listed as CT (Connecticut?) I called them and she said that my daughter authorized them to charge us every month. My daughter knew nothing about it, neither did I.

The woman on the phone told me it was because of a purchase from Digital River Software that I was enrolled in this membership. I went to the Digital River site, and found that the purchase was a Praxis Test study guide which we bought for my daughter in college. We made this purchase ON THE PHONE, and did not authorize any $9 charge to any Reservation company.

The woman told me that she would refund the three months that they charged us for, and that she was doing me a favor by doing that. She said it would be credited to me in 3-5 days. We'll see... She cancelled my "subscription" and was very nice to me, but I still feel cheated that I was charged without my approval or notification.
