C. Bowie you are right on the money as to what happens with this company. I am NOT behind on payments. What ASC is trying to do to me is say that when I filed Chapter 13 in 1996 and successfully completed it in 2001 That the claim put on the bankruptcy was 61,000.00 too little and even though the claim was with HUD and ASC just took over in May they want me to make them a blanket payment of 61,000.00. A Sheriff came to my house with foreclosure papers now claiming 65,000.00. Asc is saying that they have now stopped the foreclosure action but i don't belive them. I have a fax from their lawyers stating they have but no reasons are given. ASC did give me one option of refinancing thru them and including the 61,000.00 with my principal left over. No home in my neighborhood sells for any where near that amount!!! Consumer Protection has done nothing althouygh I send them every docum, entation and complaint I can find on the company. My foreclosure notice says Citigroup but the fax from their lawyers says Well fargo! I have called this Eddy Norfleet and left several messages but to no avail. Alan at ASC seems to take great delight in telling me that they have reported to the credit bureau that I am 61,000.00 in arrears. When I asked him for documentation, he said he didn't have to give that to me. Anyone have any more ideas who else to cotact?
