E. Burnham - Retinol Cosmetics Ripoff Bills for items not ordered, sics RMCP collection agency to collect

This "E. Burnham" company has quite a scam working. My 94-year old dad responded to a supposed "free" offer - one of those things that annoyingly fall out of magazines. Evidently they automatically sign up anyone who responds to receive a continual supply of their "creme", following receipt of the supposed "free" sample.

In any case, when I first found out about the the first additional shipment, billing him $26.95, I called them & explained my Dad had not ordered any such continued supply (he's legally blind and close to deaf), & would not be paying for something he never ordered. After a heated discussion, I assumed that was the end of it.

Evidently NOT! It's been a several of months and he recently received a dunning notice from the RMCP Collection Agency outfit. We should not need to pay off this crooked outfit for stuff that was never ordered. Has anyone reported theis company to the BBB? Or a Dept. Of Consumer Affairs?
