Rude Hotline Counselor Dismissed My Abuse Situation

The National Domestic Violence Hotline is a place where people can call for domestic violence help. I called to talk about a person I was dealing with who was an abuser, and a female counselor two weeks earlier did an excellent job of explaining this abuser and his tactics. After dealing with the abuser again, I called the hotline and spoke to a counselor who was rude, tried to dominate me and cut me off, and even told me she had "never heard of abuse in the situation" I was in.

I would think twice about calling this line.
