Easiest job screwed up - poor workman ship

Mr. Handyman, the idea of this place sounds great but turned out to be such a hassle. My wife and myself plan on renovating our whole condo here shorty so we called Mr. Handyman out for an easy job I could have done myself, but wanted to see their work plus I didn’t want to buy the tools. Turns out they showed up late, but ready to fix my wooden entry gate. Now they charge you to come out, the materials, and then by hour. Now to replace; 4 wooden planks, 15 screws, 2 bolts, 4 washers, and 2 hinges I was charged about $350.00. This was not quite what I was quoted on the phone, I feel the guy took his time and did a poor job. The planks are curved at the top but when cut there was no curve, in fact he made the zigzagged. Oh did I mention after they were done the handle was not installed correct, if you would hit the latch to open the gate it would not move. I called them to let them know that the gate still had the same issues I previously called about the first time and the man that answered the phone said he would come out personally, we set up a time. The repairman never showed up or even called. When I called again a few days later I called again to talk to the same man, he continued to start with excuses which I didn’t want to hear about. We set-up a different time to have him show up, once again he was late and when he was done the gate was still not fixed. I really don’t know how these guys are still in business, there work attitudes and business-ship are all poor. I should sue them just for the principle, but I don’t want to deal with the stress. I highly recommend people to avoid this place and look elsewhere. You will find the job cheaper and they will complete the jobs correctly.
