Scammy website. Non-existent customer service

I made an order on their website for an elderly friend. After you put in all of your info and press send, it informed us that their would be an incredible $33.00 shipping fee from China (but it was sending her 2 purple snuggies as free gifts. Seriously?)

We immediately (within 1 minute) tried to cancel the order but there was no contact info on the email receipt and it stated that this was an unattended email account so don't bother to try to reply through it. There was absolutely no way to stop this ridiculous transaction and I felt awful for putting my poor elderly friend through this and making such a costly mistake in light of her fixed income. There was a phone number on the website but it went to an unrelated voice mail.

Only recourse was to wait until she received the products and return them which cost her another $15 in shipping and initiate a dispute with her visa account. The box arrived from China with no invoice, receipt or paperwork of any kind. We were at least hoping for an accurate phone number. So now she is out over $90 for a $19.95 product. Visa had difficulty making contact too but when they did buymagicmesh.com were very unwilling to help us and make things right. They offered a pittance of a refund for the actual products but were unwilling to refund their outrageous shipping and handling feeds and taxes ($7.95 per item which were about half of the product amount) Our phone conversation ended with their customer service rep hanging up on me and the Visa rep!

I put in a ton of time and aggrivation just trying to stop and return and get a refund and then to be hung up on was the icing on the cake. Their customer service rep needs to read up on the definition of her job.

I hind site, I wish I would have just purchased this same exact product at Mxxxxxx Crafts for $14.95 plus tax.
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
