Bait and Switch

They advertise for $29.00. I got their information from a google search. My garage door would not open with the remote I already had.

The tech cam early and went into the garage. I gave him the original remote. He held it up to the unit and took out the original battery and put back the original battery.

The tech asked if I wanted another remote, and I told him know.

The tech then get his invoice book, which he made me fill out all of my information on the invoice myself and announced it is $89.00. I told him, I was only paying $29.00 for what he did. 30 minutes later, he's still sitting on my porch with this unresolved by the company.

I finally call back and they agree to the $29.00. I write out the check and give it to him, and ask him for a receipt. Then he wants to argue more. I ask him to take the check and leave, and he does.

Basically, this was a bait and switch.

They really don't give you any prices or good estimates over the phone before they come out. I will not use them again, I'll stick with another referral source.
