Oldcastle Apg Texas, Inc Unethical and Dishonest - Delivered wrong stone and then lied about it

I am building a home from J. Kyle Homes. I selected Prairie Cream Chop for the stone on the front. The stone was ordered from and delivered by Custom Stone Supply.

Once I saw the stone on the house I noticed that it seemed to be white rather than cream. I then went and looked at other homes and the sample boards and realized that they had delivered and applied at least 80% Blanco (a white based stone).

I then went to multiple Custom Stone Supply locations and took a few of my spare stones to compare. The stones were an exact match for Blanco in each case. I then took my spare stone to a salesman and he identified it as Blanco.

Next, I pushed my builder to get a meeting with Custom Stone Supply's management at the house to resolve the matter. They agreed and we all met at the house. Once there the VP of Operations for Custom Stone Supply proceeded to tell me that my stone "had a cream tint". Even once i held the Blanco sample board up to my stone and showed him that is was a seamless match, he continued to lie to me and tell me that he could see a noticeable difference.

No one other than those with something to lose has any trouble seeing that the stone is wrong. I have pictures of my stone against the pallets of Blanco and Prairie Cream taken at two of my locations if anyone wants to see for themselves.

This company is very dishonest. If you ever need stone, save yourself a ton of heartache and go elsewhere.
