I had emailed maui jim and requested lens replacement, sent the model number and requested information if they were repairable, they acknowledged my request instructed me to send them in for repair, once they received them they told me they no longer had the replacement parts. And if I wanted my glasses back I would have to pay a processing fee. I sent two emails and should have and could have been told that the glasses were no longer in stock, the customer service would not directly acknowledge my further concerns or request to return my glasses without a processing fee, they avoided any discussions concerning the process, but focused on offering me a 50% discount on a new pair of glasses, seems like this was their original intention once they have my glasses, I think this and unethical way to do business and poor customer service.
