Robert Kirchner Ripoff Did not respond to complaints

We contracted to have our garage floor finished by Durabond Seemless Flooring. We were doing have on one visit and then half on a second visit. We did this so that we would have someplace to store all the stuff.

They came and did the first have and got half the payment. It took two days and then two days to dry. On the third day we noticed several places (cracks) that did not have any material at all covering them, or at least look like it.

We called the owner and asked him if he could send someone out to look at it and fix it. He said that he would check and let us know.

A week later, I called again and he told us to wait until the second garage was to be done. We told him we needed someplace to move the stuff in the other garage and that was the reason we split them up in the first place. He said that was not his problem. He told my wife that he had just bought a $50,000 dollar car and had problems that they were just part of life.

We contacted the salesman (independent contractor) and he got the man to agree to stop out at our house in two weeks. I arranged to take off of work.

The day before they were supposed to come out we called in order to get a better idea of the time. This time the installer called back and said that the problem was that the floor cracked after the material was applied. "This was three days later". He stated, " that there was nothing he could do and if they patched it would look bad." We asked that he come out and look at it and he said that he was "too busy."

We called the owner back and he stated that he had just but a million dollar home and there were problems. He said, "the builder built a nice home but problems are just part of life"

All we wanted the company to do was complete the installation and live up to the "And, your immediate satisfaction of materials and workmanship is also guaranteed." part of their guarantee. They could have at least come out and looked at the floor to see what the problem was. We still had half of the work outstanding and they still wouldn't take care of it. Just imagine what would have happened if they were completely done. They probably wouldn't have talk to us at all.
