I rented a window unit from RAC and it has been a nightmare. They have called before it was due and called my job after my boss told them not to, over 35 times. They have sent me a certifeid letter and threatend that I would be arrested. They have broke numerous fair debt collection laws, as far as I know. Can I be arrested for not paying them the rest of the balance? I have paid almost $400.00 already.
