Charges?! BEWARE of Stamps.com

I signed up to use Stamps.com when I sold something on Amazon. I'm not a big seller, just sell a personal item on rare occasion to get a couple extra dollars. I was unaware that I was signing up for a service and didn't see anything which told me there would be a monthly reoccurring fee. From what I have been reading, this has not just happened to me. I review my checking account statements but it took me 4 months to pick up the fradulant $15.99 monthly charge that had been occurring.

I called and talked to two separate people who both gave me a too bad, so sad attitude. THEN I was told they would waive my final $15.99 fee. WHAT?! $15.99 had just been taken out of my checking account and they were "doing my a favor" by not charging me another month - ridiculous!

After my phone coversation I received three emails from Stamp.com and another one today. I find that interesting because I had received NO email or communication from them prior. They were perfectly happy to be sneaky by refraining from communication so I didn't realize they were stealing my money as they have done with so many other people but when I cancel, all of a sudden they care? I am a single mom on a very limited budget. Finding out I am now out over $60?! Well... That made me cry and will make this next month difficult. I hope this company is happy with there deceptive practices. My household will have a bit less to eat this next month.: (

It is far easier to go to the post office or use the usps web site for a service similar to stamps.com.

Misleading service that has taken alot of money from many unknowning individuals.
