Arrogant poorly trained employees

I have dealt with this pool supply company for many years. I am a pool owner and need a relaible source for supplies and tests. After a recent prolonged storm which caused substantial pool water to be lost (we had 10- inches in two days) I was concerned about the cyanuric acid level being dillutted below safe levels. This chemicalkeeps the chlorine level stable for long period of time (many months without problem). It is difficult to test at home unlike other basic tests - so I rely on the pool store.

I was told that my level was very high (100 PPM) - acyually MUCH higher that my last test before the storm. I questioned it and asked the manager if he had seen any low levels at all that day. He blew me off and rudely told me he couldn't be bothered with that as he had too many tests to remember. I was puzzled but I trusted Leslie's competence.

Within a few days my pool became green with algae. It had been clear for almost six months prior to the storm) I phoned Leslie's complaint line to relay the bad experience and EVERY Time I EVEN started to explain my problem - I was interrupted by a VERY VERY rude and VERY arrogant young man. It was as if he had intentionally tried to harrass me and treat me like a child on the phone. After the SIXTH interruption - I hung up in disgust.

All they care about is selling expensive chemicals - not customer care or concerns.

Years before - I had used Pinch -a - Penny services and found them to be so unfriendly and inconsiderate that I switched to Leslies. Now I see that Leslies has become as bad as they are. This was not my first bad experience with them - but it will be my last.
