Samsung
Still under warranty LCD TV, has to be shipped or taken in to store. I cannot do it physically at this time

Construction & Repair

Samsung will not pay to have a tech come to me. I have to pay the 89.00 fee. I would gladly take it in to the store. However, I broke my toe two days ago and I cannot handle the 32 inch tv. I am afraid I will drop it, warranty will then be void. I live alone and do not have someone who can help me. I would not want to ask a neighborhood because if they drop it trying to help me, I would be upset. Why can't Samsung understand that sometime policies have to be broken when there is a legitimate reason. This TV was a christmas gift from my DAD. I definitely would have Googled and researched Samsungs reputation online. I Googled them yesterday and was shocked. Complaint after complaint, television news stories, tech bloggers all complaining about their poor televisions and even worse customer service. I will never buy another Samsung product. My sister was going to purchase the same model for her college kids. After my ordeal, she ordered a product by Sanyo. I have let everyone know do not ever BUY me any SAMSUNG product as a gift-unless you hate me for some reason.

Stay away from Samsung LCD TV - tends to breakdown (no picture) after the 1-year warranty period. Repair cost exceeds cost to replace. From internet posts, it appears this is a common problem, but Sa, New Jersey
