Overpriced-rip off of Soldiers, Retirees

Took my 2000 Mitsubishi to the Firestone at Ft Bliss, Texas. Just to get a price for 4 struts. Told me Front struts $149.99 each and Rear struts $147.99 each. Total for struts and to install, $1,035.00!! ONLY $601 at Pep Boys for struts (Monroe) and the installation. The price of the struts is almost DOUBLE the prices at Pep Boys, Autozone and O'Reilly. The Area Service Manager for Firestone called after I sent letter to Post Exchange. Said their prices were "comparable" to other businesses. Told him they were not. So yes, plan to complain some more to Base Commander. These people at Firestone just ripping off Soldiers, family members and Retirees.
