Vista fell apart with infant inside - UPPA BABY VISTA STROLLER

This was just 6 months old when it suddenly fell apart while walking on a sidewalk... Baby boy inside! The main folding joint that connects the two metal bars actually burst open, causing the stroller to list dangerously to one side and almost tip over with my child inside. This was only lightly used on city sidewalks... Not clear if this should be recalled as I've seen other reviews mentioning the same failure. As a physician that cares for children and infants I can assure you that this should NEVER happen.

I called customer service who, despite a poor attitude, seemed to know exactly what had failed with very little description on my part, making me wonder again if this is a common failure of this product.

For the amount of money that this product costs, and the issue being a safety concern, I would recommend a different product.
