Won't stand behind thier work

We bought an air conditioner (Goodman) from Custom Climate 3 years ago. This year the unit quit working. We called a different service company to investigate the units problems. We were informed that when Custom Climate installed the unit, they turned the drain hose upward so the moisture wouldn't run out, which in turn accumulated in the hose and unit. Then when we were hit with colder than usual weather, the water in the hose froze, broke the hose and the freeon leaked out. Now, we're being told the warranty only covers the coil, and it will cost 2-3 thousand dollars to repair the unit. We live in a 55 park and others in this park have bought from the same company. Also turning the drain hose upward. We will never recommend this company to anyone and hopefully people will read this before choosing an air conditioner company.
