Hot tubs direct fraudulent company! Never delivered our spa or refunded our money!

I purchased a spa/hot tub for over $7,000 in June online from www.directtohomeappliances.com. I was told I had to pay in full with a check when I ordered it so I did. I was also given a ship date for 10-16 weeks (so they promised 4 months would be the longest wait time). I still to this date have not received my spa and it has now been 9 months! I started calling in October when I hadn't heard from anyone and when my spa had not arrived. From October until now I have only received emails as a response.in the emails I get continuous excuses that the spas are delayed and it will be another 4 months. When I realized something was wrong I searched this company online and found hundreds of complaints on all different websites about customers that also were scammed by this company and never received their spa. There are over 310 complaints about this company on the Better Business Bureau website. I really cannot understand how they stay in business with this many bad reports against them. I was told I need to get a California lawyer to sue them since that is where the company is located. If you are a lawyer that can help me or a person dealing with a similar situation with this company please contact me as I am thinking this lawsuit could become a civil suit with the amount of people involved in being scammed from this company.

FYI this company changes their name to keep running frequently so beware. I know they have changed their name to "Hot Tubs Direct" and "Home Good Stores". The owner is Steve Barbarich. He is the head of this scam. The people working with him (or the names I was given from different people that work with him) are Jeff Meyers, Aly, Marianne, and Damien. They will give you all the excuses in the world but do not believe a word they say. And that's if you are lucky enough to even get them on the phone. Usually you can only get sales people on the phone that cannot help you and claim they know nothing. You will only get a voicemail from the managers and then if you are lucky and harass them they will email you back that your product is delayed. The managers will NEVER call you because the entire thing is a scam.

If you are dealing with this please continue to call and harass them and tie up their phone lines so they cannot sell anything. Contact the Better Business Bureau, post on every website you can including this one to let people know what they are doing. They must be stopped! I thought my review was just one and would not matter or do anything but if we all think like this they will get away with this and continue to scam others. Hire a lawyer and go after them! I am in the process of suing them now. The more of us that step up and fight, the quicker they will be stopped. Please help to stop them. This website won't let me post my email address or I would add it so we can work together. I will start a website to stop this guy Steve so we can all work together so look online for it soon.

Steve Barbarich is listed as the owner I ordered a grill and sent a check for $458.00. I never received my grill or my money back. I emailed, called and every time they gave me the run around. I talked to several different people and wa
