Windows West - Ray Hanks
Ripoff, cashed our check for windows and never came back and we can't find them to file a suit

We contacted Windows West, after they advertised in the local paper, to install windows in our house. They sent their sales man out, Ray Hanks, who gave us an estimate of 3000 dollars to do the whole house, we agreed and he wrote out a contract. He then said we had to give him 1500 dollars to order the windows, which we wrote him a check for.

That was March 15 and after numerous attempts to call his cell phone, and the business number, they won't contact us. We tried looking for the business office whose address was on our contract and there was no business there.

We have filed a complaint with the BBB and I want to file a civil suit but we can't find the business or Ray Hanks, who cashed the check. The 800 number for the business is an answering service who says they don't have an address but will have someone contact us immediately. No one has ever contacted us. I am just sick over this and lay awake nights thinking of how to find this con artist. Please HELP!
