Would not credit defective showerhead I sent back

I ordered a showerhead from Luxury Online which specializes in high pressure showerheads. The showerhead was defective, in that the head would not pivot or move at all - it had become frozen. Otherwise it worked fine.

After sending back the product per their instructions and asking for a replacement only, the company would not answer any e-mails. After contacting my Visa personnel, they said that through the company's bank that they had never received the showerhead (Visa could not contact the company directly). I had sent the product via US post office, with no tracking number (big mistake). Luxury Online does not list any telephone number, and only a PO box (red flag).

After several months of working through Visa, Luxury Online's bank apparently told Visa that they would credit the showerhead. Never got any response from the company, except one e-mail stating that they worked with a skeleton crew during the summer time. Very frustrating. If I had not paid with a credit card, I probably would have had no recourse.
