I met Steve Santus in a "Recovery Program." It seems that he preys on people in these programs by adopting the jargon and gaining their trust before finally ripping them off.

I hired him to remodel my property, and, long before finishing, he took my money and disappeared back to England and never returned my calls.

He has since been seen in the Los Angeles area again, this time wearing a suit and tie instead of workman's clothes.

God only knows what kind of scam he's working on now.
