Color matching in glass tile

We requested glass tiles from Daltile for the home. We selected the colour about the foundation of the test container. The tiles which were shipped originated from another ton and had a shade which was very distinctive from the test container using the same color labels. Sadly the company mounted them before we're able to capture the mistake, and we were out thousands of bucks for that substance and work. Possibly their quality-control is awful or they inadvertently stuffed "coconut oil" (GR08) in-boxes marked "Cream Pop" (GR18). Lessons learned:

- start every container of tiles to check on the colour

- examine that each container has got the same lot quantity, not only exactly the same shade

- do not wait many weeks to get a fresh ton if they inform you they are sold-out; you will wait the installation and there is no promise the fresh ton would be the shade you need. Simply visit another producer

- do not bother calling Daltile customer support when you have an issue&they dismiss characters and emails. The only path to obtain them to pay for interest would be to consider them to small-claims court, where stage they might provide a negotiation to prevent the full time dropped with among their workers come in court
