Tyco Fire And Security No relief from Contract when service ceased

I signed a contract for ADT alarm service at my home. Six months prior to the contract ending I sold my home. I attempted to move the service to my new house.

ADT's installer came to the new home and said that he could not install a system due to the age and materials used to build my new home. I subsequently was billed the full $30 although I was not using ADT's service and had no means to use their service.

I called numerous times to get this fixed. The company was unsympathetic. I never will deal with ADT again.
