Ripoff Lacks Customer Service missing parts to furniture and rude customer service reps

I am not usually one to complain about delivery services or customer service issues, but this one takes the cake.

Our family had purchased a simple futon bed from Haynes with the hope that it would actually be a usable piece of furniture in our den. When the new salesman entered all of the pieces required, I assumed that all was fine for delivery.

When the delivery was made, the men asked if we had the arms as the only pieces on the truck were the mattress and the back. Who would EVER order only a back to a futon frame?

When I called the 'customer help line' I was placed on hold for more than 25 minutes, all the while having the delivery man wait until I could verify the information. I wasn't about to sign ANYTHING until I had some answers. After my hold time, I was talking to a very rude gentleman named Ken who told me it was MY FAULT that I didn't check on the salesman when I ordered the furniture. My thinking was that if the salesman is on 'the showroom floor' he should actually know what he's doing!

Is there a manual on what pieces I should specifically ask for when I order furniture? In the past, when I have ordered furniture I always got what I paid for! One would assume that when purchasing furniture, all of the necessary parts would be included in the price or explain specifically on the tag what is necessary for the order.

After having to reschedule another delivery day, where I was told would be an afternoon, I assumed that it would be fine.

Today, I was called by the delivery company stating that they only have morning deliveries on any given day and they wouldn't ever have afternoon delivery options. Who knows WHEN I'll get my arms and have a useable futon bed at this rate!
