Cannot charge it!

After having my expensive Samsung phone for a little over a year, I could no longer seem to charge it.instead of there being a battery issue, it seems that the in-phone connector to the power cord no longer fit properly into the phone. There was no damage or scratch to the rest of the phone, as verified by the cellular company. Since then, it has been getting progressively worse.in order to charge the phone, you must hold down the power cord while connected to the phone with great pressure—and this still is ineffective in charging the phone! Ludricrous. This only remedy lasted a little while 'til the whole phone went caput and cannot be charged at all. $150 for a rip-off phone. I should have known—Samsung's LCD TV needed its mother board and power board replaced after just 9 months of use.
