Took money for a Miami condo rental in the Icon Brickell but there is no rental

I found an ad for a monthly furnished rental in the Icon Brickell on Craigs list. I contacted the person and was given a Chase bank account number to wire the funds or direct deposit the funds into. He said the apartment would be ready in the afternoon. He then called and said the last tenants had taken the keys and I could not move in until the following morning. That will be tomorrow morning. I got a bad vibe so decided to dig further. (I Know a little late) and discovered usacomplaints.com has numerous complaints. I am going to the bank and Police in the morning. I don't know if this will do any good or not.
