Criminal Sales Practices ripoff

Ordered and paid in full (via credit card) a bombay chest from Ashley Furniture. Was told unit would be delivered to store in 10 to 20 days. When I got home from the store, there was a message at my home from Ashley Furniture Salesperson that they wrote down the wrong price on our receipt and we owe about $89 more! Spoke to Manager (Mr. Sharkey) and he insisted we pay the difference or he would not put the order through!

He was very unprofessional, unreasonable and shouted (a few profanities) his words on the phone. He said he would split the difference of unit and then would put order in. We agreed after an hour of pure fustration. When we called on update on a delivery, we were lied to as to the delivery date. Finally, we gave up and cancelled the order after waiting 3 months.

Please be aware of doing any business with this company. I filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs - Burlington County, NJ.
