My mother's Maytag stove is less than 25 months old and she uses it no more than 2 times per month. A little more than one year ago she had to have the control panel replaced and paid $95 labor to a repair service. Now the control panel went out (16 months after the first repair) to the tune of $271!
Maytag says its parts are only warranted for 1 year and too bad. I'll be following up with Maytag consumer affairs.
