Patrick Carpenter SCAM! Took my money and ran

The guys are a huge scam! Patrick Carpenter came to my home to bid on a remodel I was doing. Upon agreeing on a price he said there would be a deposit of 500.00. I wrote the check and we agreed that he would start the job at 9am the following morning. I took the day off from work to be there with them and had arranged others to be there for him as he would be in my home. 9AM came and went, Patrick would not answer his phone, would not respond to emails, texts, or voicemails. His phone had been disconnected. I finally got a hold of one of his crew members listed on his web site. Magically, Patrick's phone began to work again (because he cashed my check and paid his bill) He said that he got called away to finish another job, but assured me he would be at my home the very next morning (before 9am). I took yet another day off from work. No suprise to me 9am came and went again. I text... He responds with a very cocky attitude.
