Florida Power and Light
Suspicious Adjusted Billing Payment Demand

Construction & Repair

I'm a Florida citizen and purchase my energy and illumination to Florida Strength and Lighting. I have settled on time constantly, that's, before last 8 weeks. I skipped cost for 2 payment cycles by two times every time. That's to express, my cost every time was JUST two days overdue.

FPL today states that I owe them a Bill Deposit since my cost was somewhat overdue inside the previous six months. They need $359.00 otherwise.

I called and talked having a consultant to possess them clarify this plan in my experience. There is merely a small reference to this chance on my statement, declaring "funds made following the deadline is likely to be regarded overdue and utilized a 1.50% charge and could be susceptible to a consideration deposit"

Nevertheless, NO-WHERE does it express what that quantity is likely to be, or exactly what the quantity is likely to be based on.

I asked the repetition. To describe and show me the details of the plan at length, since I have wasn't conscious of the total amount I'd be asked to purchase being two times overdue on my statement.

The repetition couldn't discover this evidence, and alternatively agreed to mail-me the facts.

That Is sneaky extortion.

They possibly need me to register for automated distributions or they need me to pay for them $359. Or they'll cancel my company.

May a business NEED a resident to register for automated money?

May a business CONCEAL their charge-centered assessement? How did they develop $359.00???

I noticed someone lelse on this website reported about FPL receiving sporadic costs.

Is other people experiencing this?

Is Florida Power and Lighting only a couple of criminals???
