Todd Bowers Poor work & no responsibility

This person inspected a duplex prior to our purchase. The duplex had tenants. As a result of his inspection we purchased the property. Within a month our tenants reported problems with a leaking roof. Roofers inspected and found the roof completely worn and needed replacement immediately. I went up on the roof with the roofers to confirm. During the inspection of the roof it was discovered the attic area was filled with mold. "The worst case of mold we've ever seen" said the roofers.

The mold abatement service also stated it was a very bad case, as well. Mold was also present in cabinets and closets and walls - the result of poor practices on the part of one tenant.

Since this mold had to have been present when Pillar to Post performed the inspection it's obvious the inspection was VERY sloppily done! I doubt he could have been on the roof or up in the attic areas. Though his report states he was... And things were in good repair.

For months this inspector - Todd Bowers - stalled responding to my contacts and those of my realtor. He'd ask for reports, etc. But all it was a stall. I gave up trying to get satisfaction.
