M & M Plastering Co Damaged roof, Abandoned job, Advertising is deceptive

After receiving multiple bids for having EIFS, faux stone and brick applied to my home, I chose Victor Montes, M&M Plastering, because he was the only one who advertised that he was "licensed, insured and bonded" in the yellow pages.in the end, I learned that he was not licensed (he is certified), nor is he insured and bonded. I filed a complaint andcorresponded through the BBB but did not get any satisfaction.

Prior to accepting any bid, I had selected the color of EIFS, the particularstone, and brick I wanted applied and let the biddingcontractors know where they were available.

After accepting Victor's bid, and whilepreparing my home for the application of the EIFS, Victor's menripped off some of my drip flashing, twisted and left some; Victor said he had aroofer friend who owed him a favorand hewould get him to replace it.

While applying the EIFS to the upper story, his crew attached boards to my 4 year old roof in order to stabalize their scaffolding.
