Ripoff

In August I bought a winter pool cover and tubes from www.poolgear.com. My order confirmation page showed that I owed 129.99 plus 8.99 shipping and handling for a total of 138.98. I got an email from the company confirming the order with the order details and the total owed as 138.98. When my credit card bill came, I was charged a little over $200.

I called the the number listed on the web to tell them there had been a mistake in my billing. I was told that they checked with the webmaster and there was a mistake on the web with my order and that I actually owed the $200 amount. When I told the man I had an email confirming the $138 charge, he told me I should have received an email telling me of the mistake. (I didn't)

I could have disputed the charge with my credit card company since I still had the email with all the order details, but didn't because it was too much trouble for less than $70. I just wanted to let people know that this company will rip them off.
