Misleading sales information

I have mixed feelings about this company because they had the product that I wanted. The owner George seems very helpful and friendly but he is not straightforward about what is actually "included" in the "package".

The sales information clearly states that "engineering" is included in the package unless "special materials" are required by local building requirements. Actually engineering is not included but is charged at $2.00 @ sq ft unless there are no local building requirements. George attempted to persuade me that the word "included" does not really mean "included". If heknew therewould be engineering charges he should have disclosed that fact in the sales information or at least in his product presentation. When I first looked at cabin model I wanted, it was about $17,000 cheaper but you had to pay extra to get a "panelized" package.

The delivery charges are substantial and you can't be sure what "delivery" means. There is a forced delivery date which in my case was before the winter season in the mountains would be over.

The final outcome when buying from this company might be acceptable or even good but you can not take anything for granted. You need to be sure you understand exactlywhat you are getting - every detail.
