Oakwood Acceptance
Ripoff, Stole insurance money intended to make repairs on my home. I am ready to pack my things and walk away from this nightmare

I had water damage from the cheap AC unit in my home. I filed an insurance claim and Oakwood was supposed to endorse the claim check and send it back to me. They kept it and refused to give it to me to make neccessary repairs to my home.

These people accused my wife and I of trying to get the money and not make the repairs. The representative told me it was my problem. I should borrow the money to repair my home and only after it was repaired I would get a portion of the claim check. I was called a liar and a cheat by these people who are stealing my money.

Now I have mold growing in my home from the water damage. Hell I cannot even sue this rip off company. I live on a fixed income. I have no recourse but to live in this crappie home that Oakwood will not allow me to repair. I have had trouble with this company for seven years and they have me over a barrel and they know it. I am ready to pack my things and walk away from this night mare.
