Liars and thieves

A home warranty policy was purchased May 27 by verbal telephone agreement. This company was advertised on the internet and had good feedback at that time. My son also purchased a policy. My son had air conditioning problems in August. Capital Home Shield refused to honor the contract. He canceled his contract and was reimbursed his monies. This company also did not pay their contractor for the service call on this a/c problem. My son had to pay.
I decided to cancel my policy at that time and had to call numerous times to talk to someone of authority. Finally on Sept. 21, I talked to Steve J. Philips to cancel. I called back on Sept. 24, Sept. 27, Oct. 9, and was told each time that a full refund of $449.00 would be credited to my account. All false. Now I have talked to Steve Philips and Thomas Clever many times; Sept. 27; Oct. 9; Oct 13; Nov. 1; Nov. 9. Each time I was promised a refund within days. Each time they lied. To date no action on their part. They have no intentions of returning my money. They are thieves and scam artists. Now the telephone numbers are inoperative which leads me to believe they have departed the country. Don't make the same mistake. Avoid these people!
