Shared my credit card number with UMG who illegally charged my credit card

I ordered a WATER JET as adverised on TV & provided my Credit card number to National Express. I started receiving numerous telephone calls from Florida. Finally I answered and it was UMG asking me to join a buyers club and telling me I had ordered the Water Jet. I told them NO and to quit calling me. Three days later they debited my Credit card. I saw it and immediately called them. They offered to reduce the monthy charge of $ 14.95 to $ 9.95. I again told them NO and advised them I did not authorize them to debit initially and told them to cancel. They said I would receive a membership packet in the mail, which I never did. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. They credited the charge right away as a "courtesy" to me but were not going to go after the illegal charge from UMG. About a week later, UMG did reverse their charge after I told them a local TV station would be doing a story on them. I have had not further contact with them.
I still want to know why National Express shared my credit card number with UMG and how much National Express got paid probably for all the credit card numbers they sold to UMG.
