I ordered a kitchen table and 4 chairs on July 28th, which I paid in full on my credit card. They told me it would take 8-12 weeks. When I called in the beginning of October, they told me it would be in at the end of October. I called back again and told them if it was going to be longer b/c if so I would like to cancel the order. They came back to me saying it would be another 4-8 weeks. So I told them I would like to cancel and be reimbursed for the full amount of $1731.30. I spoke with John Lopez, the manager, who told me he would personally cancel it with the accounting department. This was on October 16th.

I asked if he could fax me something so I would have it in writting to state that it was cancelled and that I would be getting the 100% credit. He told me he couldn't and that my invoice number is now my cancellation number. I called back 2 days later just to verify that my order was cancelled and the woman told me that John had taken care of it and I would see the credit, in full, on my next credit card statement. I did not. So, I called back several times, each time telling me that they would call me back, which NEVER happened.

I called back today, October 28th, to speak with John to find out why my credit card had not been credited. He told me that's b/c accounting would not cancel the order b/c it was already being shipped and that I would be receiving it in 2-3 weeks. I then spoke with Andre Edwards, the president, told him that I cancelled the order on 10/16th with John, called back to verify it was cancelled and now find out it wasn't.

Andre told me that he had to call accounting, but if it's on it's way that I'm stuck with it. I told him that the second I cancelled the order, I ordered another table from a different place and I received it in 5 days. He tried to turn it around saying that if he gave a credit to everyone who wanted to cancel their "custom" order he wouldn't make any money. I told him that I did not cancel it b/c I didn't want it, I cancelled it b/c I wasn't going to get it until sometime in mid November when I ordered it in July. All I want is a credit back on my card for the $1731.30.

I called my credit card company to see if I can get a chargeback, I also filed a complaint with BBB and Fox 5 Problem Solvers. If there is anything you can do, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
