Manager (female) calls me a liar in front oif 4 customers

I bought a small lock box on sale and after opening the box noticed the lock was missing. I returned it for a refund and was told by a female manager that I had removed the lock myself. I thought it was a joke and was told the second time that I had removed it and wanted to return the box for a refund. I told her I had not removed the lock and was told I was a liar in front of 4 customers. I told her to keep it and walked out of the store never to return to one of their stores.
